2012 "Predict the Oscars" Winner at Charlestowne 18 Theatre

The time has come to announce the winner of the Classic Cinemas annual “Predict the Oscars” contest. Winfield resident Tony Bilden, who entered the contest at the Charlestowne 18 Theatre, located at 3740 East Main Street, is the winner! He will receive a one-year movie pass and a pair of tickets to the Brookfield Zoo.

Bilden just recently started going to the Charlestowne 18 and cannot wait to use his movie pass.

“I was very excited to win!” he adds. “The movie pass cuts going to the movies in half for my fiancé and I, which is great!”

This year, 6,875 ballots were cast in predicting the Oscar winners in seven categories:  Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Animated Film. Bilden had only seen half of the Oscar –nominated films, yet was still able to snag second place!

“My fiancé helped me with my predictions.” he adds. “I am going to share the win with her.”

Each Classic Cinemas theatre selected one first-place winner from the correct ballots entered at that location. The remaining correct ballots entered at the Charlestowne 18 Theatre will receive a pair of movie passes to any Classic Cinemas location and a pair of tickets to the Brookfield Zoo.
