Kane County to Perform Traffic Signal Upgrades at Three Kirk Rd. Intersections this Week

Expect Delays as Signals may be Temporarily Out of Service

The Kane County Division of Transportation will be performing traffic signal equipment upgrades at three intersections along Kirk Road the week of Nov. 26:

  • Dunham at Army Trail Road
  • Kirk at Fox Chase Drive
  • Kirk at Foxfield Drive

Work is anticipated to start at Army Trail on Tuesday, Nov. 27, progressing south to Fox Chase and Foxfield with all upgrades being completed by Friday, Nov. 30.

During this time, traffic signals may be temporarily out of service and the intersections will be under 4-way stop control. All work is scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect long delays at these locations and are encouraged to find alternate routes of travel during this time.
