Police Blotter: Multiple Reports of Thefts across St. Charles
The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Theft from building
On April 23 two bottles of prescription pills were stolen from a desk at Al Piemonte Chevrolet, 1611 E. Main St., according to police reports
St. Charles officers responded and were told a bottle of Vicodin and bottle of Prednisone tablets were stolen from a desk in the rear of the dealership. The victim had a valid prescription for both medications.
Police are investigating.
A missing Dell laptop valued at $2,000 was reported missing after a guest at Pheasant Run spent time at the resort for a conference in March.
According to the police report Pheasant Run officials conducted an unsuccessful search for the computer. A report was filed to the St. Charles Police Department so the laptop’s owner could file an insurance claim.
A rented viola valued at $650 was reported stolen by the mother of an elementary school student. According to the police report the complainant said her daughter last had it at Lincoln Elementary but did not know what became of it. She told police she and her daughter looked for the viola at the school but were not successful in locating it.
A police report was filed so an insurance claim could be filed.
