Dozens of local, county and state officials and other members of the St. Charles community gathered for the kick off of area's newest bridge project.
The Red Gate Bridge groundbreaking drew a crowd Thursday morning to the intersection of Route 31 and Red Gate Road, near where the west side of the bridge would connect.
