St. Charles Gas Guide: Oct. 18, 2012

The Costco on Randall Road near Oak Street is offering the cheapest credit price for regular grade gas in the area.

AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report showed that nationally, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline on Wednesday was $3.756 a gallon, down slightyly from $3.773 a day earlier, and down from from $3.813 a week ago. The national average of a gallon of regular gas a month ago was $3.862, but was just $3.462 a year ago. The highest recorded average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $4.114 on July 17, 2008.
