Suspicious Incident
St. Charles police were called at 1:39 a.m. to The Beehive, 204 W. Main St., on a report of a highly intoxicated man hanging out around the trash bin at the rear of the bar. According to the report, the individual had been told to leave the bar earlier after creating a disturbance and then was banned from the premises. Police made contact with the individual and made sure he got to his home.
Retail Theft
Jessica Nicole Legan, 22, of the 1700 block of South 4th Place, was charged at 1:40 p.m. at Jewel, 2073 Prairie St., with retail theft of three six bottles of liquor and three packages of batteries. No value of the items was reported. She was released on her own recognizance pending a Feb. 7, 2013, court appearance.

Wallet Theft
A 23-year-old resident of Nice, France, reported to St. Charles police at 6:06 p.m. that someone had stolen his wallet from his pocket while he was at The Beehive, 204 W. Main St., while he was there with some friends the night before. He discovered the theft about 11:45 p.m. The brown leather wallet contained his French driver’s license, an American Express credit card, his French health insurance card and his French social security card. According to police, three unauthorized charges were made on the credit card between the time the victim noticed it was missing until before he went to report the theft to police.
Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness
Andrew C. Hope, 21, of the 4N500 block of High Meadow Lane, was cited at 1:35 a.m. on the 0-99 block of South 3rd Street with disorderly conduct/public drunkenness after taking a Christmas tree from The Beehive, 204 W. Main St. The Christmas tree was undamaged and the owner declined to press charges, but Hope was banned from downtown St. Charles bars.

Trespass
A 55-year-old resident of a home on the 100 block of North 15th Street reported at 8:32 p.m. she found one of her roommates friends in her apartment by himself and she wanted him to leave. He left without incident and was told not to return.
Criminal Damage to Property
A 46-year-old resident of the 200 block of Fairhaven Drive, reported at 7:30 p.m. someone damaged the wheel stem to the front passenger-side wheel of his vehicle while it was parked at his home.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Muriel D. Daugherty, 18, of the 7N200 block of Hickory Lane, was cited at 10 a.m. at 1020 Dunham Road with possession of drug paraphernalia.
