Warrant Arrest
Mark A. Keska, 39, of the 300 block of North 15th Street, was arrested at 9:12 a.m. at his home on a DeKalb County warrant for failure to appear on a domestic battery. He posted $300 bond and a $75 failure-to-appear fee and was released pending a Feb. 28, 2013 court appearance.
SATURDAY, FEB. 9, 2013
Criminal Property Damage
A 57-year-old resident of the 1400 block of South Tyler Road, reported at 4:39 p.m. that someone threw eggs at his 1989 Jeep while it was parked in front of his home overnight. One of the eggs was thrown hard enough to dent the vehicle. Damage was estimated at $50.
Disorderly Conduct-Noise
Nicole M. Pstrong, 33, of the 200 block of Cedar Avenue, was cited at 4:45 a.m. at her home with disorderly conduct-noise after officers were called to the residence twice on noise complaints. Police said the first time, at 4:16 a.m., while no one would answer the door, someone called out, “Go away, we’re drinking,” and the loud music was turned down. Still no one answered, and the officer left. Police were called back at 4:45 a.m., and this time the officer’s knock on the door was answered. Pstrong was issued the citation.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Spencer E. Motley, 19, of the 1500 block of Madison Avenue, was cited at 11:29 p.m. in the 2200 block of Persimmons Drive with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis, and was charged with no rear registration lamp and operating an uninsured vehicle. He posted $150 bond and was released..

Cole G. Smith, 18, of the 1600 block of Madison Avenue, was cited at 11:38 p.m. in the 2200 block of Persimmons Drive with possession of a controlled substance. He was being held in jail pending a court appearance.
FRIDAY, DEB. 8, 2013
Unlawful Possession of Title and Registration
Gail F. Grzywa, 61, of the 800 block of North 3rd Avenue, was charged at 6:19 a.m. in the 200 block of Walnut Street with unlawful possession of title and registration. She was being held in jail pending a court appearance.
Driving Under the Influence
Kristi Sue Wredling, 54, of the 1600 block of South 16th Avenue, was charged at 10:01 p.m. at with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, and improper lane use, after police responded to an accident at Route 31 and Wildrose Springs Drive. According to the police report, Wredling lost control of her pickup, which collided with Honda Civic. Police said her blood-alcohol content registered .191. She posted her driver’s license and $300 cash bond and was released pending a March 7, 2013 court appearance.

Pothole Damage
A 27-year-old Yorkville man reported to police at 7:32 p.m. that he had struck a pothole while crossing the bridge southbound in the 200 block of North 5th Avenue when he struck a pothole that flattened the tire, dented the wheel rim and damaged a tire sensor on his 2011 Nissan Sentra. Damage was estimated at $700. Police contacted the Public Works Department about the pothole.
No Driver’s License, Warrant Arrest
Abelina Rodriguez-Vargas, 35, of the 100 block of Walnut Drive, was charged at 9:02 a.m. in the 1800 block of Oak Street with no driver’s license and failure to stop or yield after an accident at Oak Street and Walnut Drive. She was arrested on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear on a no driver’s license charge. She posted $500 surety bond and a $75 failure-to-appear fee on the DuPage County warrant pending a March 6, 2013 court appearance in DuPage County; and $150 surety bond and a $50 booking fee on the St. Charles charges and was released pending a March 7, 2013 court appearance in Kane County.
Criminal Property Damage
A 65-year-old resident of the 1600 block of Covington Court reported at 12:13 p.m. that someone had scratched the hood of her vehicle, either while it was parked in the lot at her residence or while she was working in Geneva. Police said the scratch went across the full width of the hood through all layers of paint to bare metal. Damage was estimated at $500.
Criminal Property Damage
A 22-year-old resident of the 1700 block of Wessel Court reported at 3 p.m. that someone had poured sugar into the gas tank of his 2000 Chevrolet Impala while it was parked in the lot at his apartment. The victim said this is the second time this has happened since early this year, and the first time, repairs cost him $1,800. His mechanic estimated 5 pounds of sugar had been poured into the gas tank this time. Police noted the vehicle bears firefighter plates and closely resembles an unmarked police vehicle.
