Temporary Lane Closures Planned for Two Weeks Along Kirk Road in St. Charles, Geneva

The lane closures will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday from Route 64 to Route 38.

Temporary daily lane closures are planned Aug. 3-19 along Kirk Road from Route 38 to Route 64 for crack routing and sealing work as part of an annual Kane County maintenance project.

The lane closures will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday along the section of Kirk Road, which runs through St. Charles and Geneva. Motorists should watch for construction signs, flaggers and reduced vehicle speeds while traveling through the construction zone, according to a press release from the City of St. Charles.

Delays and increased travel times are anticipated and motorists are also advised to consider alternate routes while the project is underway.
