Leave a comment to vote for your pick.

For many, the holiday season is a time to spread some cheer. Though some residents have concerns about the naughty occasional naughty person downtown, there’s still fun to be had by those who are nice and responsible.

St. Charles Patch is looking for readers’ favorite place to enjoy the nightlife. Be it your favorite after-work watering hole or where you go to catch a show, there’s probably one place in St. Charles you consider the best.

So, take a minute and imagine: It's Friday night. The kids are with a sitter and you can get away for a couple hours downtown. Where do you go?

Definitely dinner at Salerno's!
For an after-work beverage either Thirsty Fox or the Office.

As a supporter of great local comedy, St. Charles is so lucky that A O.K. COMEDY happens at CHORD ON BLUES.

Used to like McNally's but the food went down and the prices went up. Even the service isn't the same, no smiles, no fun and no Irish music anymore.

I love McNallys - DEFINATELY my favorite place to be in St. Charles. The food is great, the atmosphere is terrific, the servers, bartenders and Shay the manager are always full of smiles. Irish music sessions on Sundays are always wonderful! :)
