What You Might Not Know About Local Boutique Stores

St. Charles has many unique shops offering upscale fashion items and services.

This week Patch found five local shops to indulge in style and grace. With high fashion clothing and classy gifts, St. Charles has many shopping options featuring luxury stores and boutiques.

Panache Etc. is located in the historic shopping district of downtown St. Charles. It's a quaint shop carrying many specialty items from clothing to home decor. Panache also specializes in the senses with their many unique perfumes and soaps.

Directions in Clothing is a small women's specialty apparel boutique carrying a variety of fashion items and accessories. From business to casual wear, their clothing is often unique and features high style in dressing options. Directions in Clothing also offers complementary alterations on most items.

Donna's Jewelry Box creates inspiring designs with semi-precious stones and high quality materials. They also carry the items necessary to make your own jewelry with stones, beads, and findings. Donna's often teaches classes and will host birthday parties for young adults and teens.

Bella Bridal and Formal Wear has special occasion wear for weddings, proms, and other various events. They carry many high-end gown and dress designers who are often featured in fashion trunk shows throughout the year. Bella Bridal also has a complete selection of accessories and shoes, made to complement any dress. When planning a wedding, they are a one stop shopping experience to find tuxedos and invitations as well.

Eliza Jane is a unique shopping experience for women and girls. The store features trendy gifts, accessories, and clothing; but it doesn't stop there. With spa services such as waxing, manicures, pedicures and facials, Eliza Jane is truly a one of a kind store in St. Charles. They are also committed to teaching social graces and etiquette with Eliza Jane University, a six-week course in the art of manners and proper conversation.

These are all lovely boutiques in St. Charles that I personally support! There is also a great beauty boutique tucked away behind Arcedium Coffeehouse called B-Shique Brow Boutique. This unique shop puts a fun spin on your typical wax and cosmetic experience. The business owners downtown St. Charles are really pulling in consumers from other communities and I applaud their hard work and dedication to make St. Charles a fabulous place to hang out and shop!
