Not in the Tri-cities, but the best.
Northside Pub in Elburn.
Big burger, on "special," Tuesdays, for $3.00, made with Ream's ground beef.

In the Tri-Cities, I'll still give it to Country House over on Fabyan and Kirk.

It's hard to beat the Country House. Riganatos, in the old Rib House building, gives them a pretty good run, though.

Tom & Eddie's is hands-down the best! Excellent beef, interesting toppings, and the fries, sweet potato fries & chips are all excellent.

Country House! Isn't the Lodge on the Fox closed? Sure looks like it to me and they don't answer the phone.

Chelio's at the ice rink; try the Cajun blue cheese edition. Additional bonus: not crowded at all for lunch.

Mr. Nutburger (clearly your real name), I am responding as a consumer to this forum. I've eaten burgers my entire life, and the burgers that I eat at The Lodge on the Fox are clearly the best in my view. I'm not going to create a fake identity to express my opinion. I'm proud of the quality of what we are offering and I know our food costs are probably 5 percent points higher than the average restaurant because I refuse to skimp on cheap ingredients. The cooks and the staff have worked extremely hard in getting us to this point and I'm glad that the word is finally getting out offsetting false rumors that have plagued us since we opened a year ago. Cheers.

I would have said Urban Grille a few months back.....but like Barbara and Sam....that Riganato's has what I, never thought I would ever say, a most perfect burger. (at a much better price than some i may add...)
