Winter Clothing Drive Set for Sept. 26 through Oct. 10

The City of St. Charles and Charlestowne 18 theatres are conducting the drive in conjunction with release and showing of the movie 'Munger Road.'

The and theatres are conducting a Winter Clothing Drive Sept. 26 through Oct. 10 in conjunction with the release and showing of the movie .

Drop-off boxes will be in the and at the theaters’ main lobby service desk to collect donations of new and gently worn winter clothing for children and adults. Items needed include sweaters, pants, blazers, coats, jackets, vests, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, winter dresses and skirts, sweatshirts and fleece wear.

All donations will benefit the Salvation Army and St. Vincent de Paul charities.

Donations also will be accepted at the Munger Road booth at the southwest corner of the City Municipal Center during the Oct. 7-9. Munger Road is a feature film directed by St. Charles native Nick Smith.
