An important issue indeed. I question what the e-mailer was opposed to? Was it simply partisanRead Morepolit ics? If so, I'll do what the author is too polite to do and I *will* question that person's moral conscience. There is no room for moral relativism when discussing such heinous crimes as human trafficking.

I had the same question. If it was partisan politics then why not just say so? Seems easier thanRead Moreimp lying you disagree that human trafficking is a problem in our society - but then again this guy had the Gaul to send me a 'nastygram' versus publicly sharing his feelings.

I hope you take the time to watch this montage and enjoy her life through the pictures as she did everyday! It is a shame that we have to wait on our elected officials and their employees to get these things Read Morethrough. Well said, Alec.

Good points, Alec! I lived for 5 years in the middle of Nebraska, where the Ogallala Aquifer, theRead Morepr imary excuse for holding up the pipeline, is a topic of much debate and concern. What has been left out of the current debate is the reality that there are already numerous pipelines crossing the aquifer. While I am very well-educated on the importance of our groundwater, I think, as you do, that the current administration's excuses are nothing more than political smoke-and-mirrors and represent a continued disregard for science in the interest of "feel good" legislation and further demonization of the free market system.
