Mayor Raymond Rogina and St. Charles’ 10 aldermen are scheduled to meet behind closed doors this evening to discuss the future administration of city operations.
Rogina announced Monday’s executive session meeting on Friday, after the city revealed that City Administrator Brian Townsend, a fixture for eight years, is resigning effective Aug. 30. Townsend has been hired as village manager of Schaumburg.

The St. Charles Singles Dance Club meets at Villa Olivia Country Club along Route 20 in Bartlett. The club invites singles ages 40 and older to mix, mingle and dance.
