Cruise Nite: If it’s summertime and it’s Tuesday, it can only mean one thing — it’s Tuesday Cruise Night on First Street Plaza in downtown St. Charles. Come down to the plaza and stroll down memory lane — whether you love vintage, classic or muscle cars, there’s a little something for everyone, and most will take you back in time. Life in the 1840s: Children from 8 to 15 can discover what life was like way back when as the Garfield Farm Museum hosts the second of its three-day camps today through Thursday, July 25. Sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon, so act quickly so you child can learn about life in the mid-1800s.
Community Dinner: St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in St. Charles is hosting its “Fourth Tuesdays” community dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church’s felllowship hall. The fare for July includes grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, macaroni salad and more. The dinner’s free, but donations are appreciated.
