Today in St. Charles: ASrt Exhibit and Live Entertainmnt Downtown

Get ready for another day of comfortable weather, and take advantage of it by getting out this evening for some outdoor entertainment.


Here’s some of the day’s offerings:

  • 6 to 8 p.m.: STC Live! brings more local entertainment to liven up downtown St. Charles during the evening, thanks to the Downtown St. Charles Partnership. Watch for Josiah Jones, also known as The Jackal of Juggling, to bring his own special talents to entertain on First Street Plaza tonight, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. But there’s plenty of music on tap around downtown. From 5 to 7 p.m., listen to the Alex Murphy Combo in First Street Plaza. Then from 6 to 9 p.m., hear the Andy Schlinder Trio at The Alibi, 12 N. 3rd St. The Chris Madsen Duo performs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Isacco Kitchen, 201 Cedar St. Topping off the evening, from 9:30 to 1:30 a.m., is the Frank Catalno Saxtet at The House Pub, 16 S. Riverside Ave.

  • 8 p.m. — The Yardbirds with special guest Kashmir’s tribute to Led Zeppelin: At The Arcada Theatre, 105 E. Main St.

  • 8 p.m. — What the Butler Saw: Vero Voce School of Performing Arts, 951 State Ave, Suite F.

  • 8 p.m. — Steel Beam Children's Theatre Friends & Family Night and Cast Reunion: Under The Big Top — Family Entertainment Center, 731 N. 17th St.

  • 9 p.m. — Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks by Richard Alfieri: Steel Beam Theatre, 111 W. Main St.
