If you’re looking for some fellowship and food, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 101 S. 6th Ave., hosts its “4th Tuesdays Community Supper” from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church’s Fellowship Hall. It’s free, but the goal is for the meals to be self-sustaining, so if you can, please make a donation. The suppers are sponsored by the church’s Soul Kitchen, an outreach ministry of St. Mark’s.
On tonight’s menu are grilled barbecue chicken, fresh corn on the cob, roasted potato wedges, cucumber salad, and A&W root beer floats with Graham’s vanilla ice cream.
When you’re done dining, don’t forget Cruise Nite on First Street, which runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sponsored by the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, Cruise Nite on First Street features vintage, classic and muscle cars from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on 1st Street, between West Main and Illinois streets. Tonight’s event concludes the 2013 Cruise Nite season in St. Charles.
