Today in St. Charles: It’s Cruise Nite

Cruise Nite rockets onto 1st Street this evening as the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce’s weekly summertime event moves into its final weeks of the waning season.

If you like cars — vintage cars, muscle cars and other classics or unusual models, you really ought to consider Cruise Nite. Talk with owners about the efforts they’ve put into building their muscle machines or restoring their older vehicles. It’s all on 1st Street, between Main and Illinois streets.

The event runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The last two Cruise Nites are Aug. 20 and Aug. 27.
