The St. Charles Plan Commission is scheduled tonight to hold two public hearings on an array of proposed changes related to the downtown.
The commission meets at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Municipal Center, 2 E. Main St.
The commission and Community Development Department staff have been working on proposed changes to the overlay district involving permitting, special uses and exemptions.
The second hearing is related to requirements for existing parking lots and requirements for public street frontage landscaping.
Tuesday, Nov. 5
7 p.m. — Plan Commission meeting, City Council Chambers, Municipal Center, 2 E. Main St.
7 p.m. — 365 Days ‘til Election Night, Send Dennis Anderson to Congress in 2014. Village Squire Restaurant, 480 Randall Road, South Elgin.
