While the day may start out damp from last night’s rain and a possibility of morning showers, not to worry: The Weather Channel predicts cloudy, drier conditions in the afternoon and into the evening.
That ought to mean a nice evening performance in First Street Plaza at STC Live! hosts the second to last Friday evening of outdoor entertainment for the season.
The Ambidexters brings its eclectic taste in music, featuring cover songs of different genres, from the 1970 to today, from 6 to 8 p.m. Then Josiah Jones, also known as The Jackal of Juggling, will wow spectators from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
STC Live! has proven quite popular, drawing evening crowds to a plaza that otherwise might be nearly empty.
The Downtown St. Charles Partnership on Monday formally thanked the volunteer performers with a presentation before the St. Charles City Council, who was joined by audience members in applauding the sampling of entertainers able to make it to the evening meeting.

7 a.m. to 1 p.m. — St. Charles Farmers Market: 4th Avenue and East Main Street.
4:30 to 7 p.m. — Movie Night at the St. Charles Public Library: You must register for this event, which is held in the Huntley Meeting Room, All-Lower level.
