CALL TO VISUAL and FILM ARTISTS SAVE THE DATE
St Charles Arts Council, St. Charles, IL, is organizing Visual Art and Film Programs for the 2nd annual Charlie’s Center for the Arts Event, September 11 – 14, 2014.
Save the Date – Applications for the Art Show and Galleries will be available soon.
The St Charles Arts Council, along with their Arts and Civic Partners, will be presenting the 2nd annual Charlie’s Center for the Arts Event – ALL of the ARTS, ALL over TOWN – the weekend of September 11 – 14, 2014. The SCAC will present an Art Show that weekend, and Pop-Up Art Galleries running from that weekend through the middle of October.Artists are encouraged to SAVE THE DATE. Applications for the Art Show and Galleries will be available soon. The Charlie’s Center for the Arts 2nd annual Art Show will be joined by the SCAC’s long-running neXt gallery Pop-Up Art Gallery Program, giving Visual Artists and Filmmakers an abundance of opportunities to display and sell their work.
There is a comprehensive promotional plan for the art show and gallery programs (as well as the entire Event) that includes advertising and P.R. campaigns, a social media campaign, and cross promotional opportunities with Event Partners, local businesses and arts organizations and businesses.
Basic information about the Charlie’s Event is now available on the SCAC website –StCharlesArtsCouncil.org – more will be added as the Event draws near. The neXt gallery website – NeXtGalleryStCharles.org will also be continually updated with information about the Charlie’s Art Show and neXt galleries, including artists and art work images. Each artist in the show/galleries will be able to have their name linked from the neXt gallery website to the artists’ website or other electronic site. The SCAC and neXt gallery Facebook pages will also be regularly updated.
