Disney's The Little Mermaid Opening this Weekend!!!
Director Amy Malcom of Fox Valley Rep and the Youth Ensemble bring Disney’s The Little Mermaid to the Fox Valley Area! Under the musical direction of Kyle Donahue with choreography by Maegan Daniels, the FVR Youth Ensemble brings this Disney fairytale of dreams, love and underwater adventure to life on the Pheasant Run Mainstage on December 7-21, 2013.
The cast members include Bartlett: Katie Jackovin; Batavia: Caden Bohmer, Ali Northrop, Caley Mapes, Sophie Chahmirzadi; Geneva: Gracie Ferguson, Katie O’Brien, Kaia Ebel, Nathan Castagna, Rachel Tork; Hanover Park: Hayley Troyan; Lombard: Maddie Novak; Naperville: Kasie Blu Thomas; North Aurora: Audrey Webb, Alyssa Hill; St. Charles: Sophia Bettini, Keelan Yarusso, Erin Newman, Kathryn Dybas, Shannon Foran, Christine Chlapecka, Brynn Beveridge, Erika & Keira Denker, Cody Hedera, Emily Johnson, Katie & Kristen Das, and Kristen Bennett.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid features lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, music by Alan Menken, and book by Doug Wright. It is based on the Hans Christian Andersen Story Disney Film produced by Howard Ashman & John Musker, written & directed by John Musker and Ron Clements.
The Fox Valley Repertory Youth Ensemble is an exclusive, audition only program for the best and the brightest young talent. Students are responsible for memorizing lines, music and choreography, and learning the craft of theater through the process of preparing for live performances.
