H.E.L.P. Dog of the Week

OMG I am so happy to be around all this fun ! My name is Nola, and I am almost 2 years young. I was surrendered by my owner, and I didn't have the opportunity to socialize. So now I am learning the way of the pack.  Everyday is a new experience and I am really learning about being around my foster sisters, brother and foster brother cat. I am doing well with this life change but I know I would fit best right into a family that doesn't have other dogs.  Although I do love playing with others and I would need to continue my socialization.  I love everyone, and I am so happy to be with my humans and make them happy. We are not sure what breed Nola is... She has long legs and has the coloring of a Doberman.  But she has been told she looks like a beagle (minus the legs ????).  Nola loves to run, and like I said has long legs that could make her a perfect fit for agility training.  She has been seen flying thru the air up 4 steps of my porch with ease. She also loves the snow and could play forever outside with her fur sister.  Nola is very comfortable in her crate.  She has no issue being at home for several hours while we are at work.  She also does well all night in her crate.  I do think once she gets use to her new home she would do very well to roam free thru the house.  I do not think she is a chewer. Nola is potty trained and has not had a single accident. Nola is an active girl and would enjoy an active family, but also lays down at your feet or cuddles up with you in your lap.  Nola knows simple commands.  She is bursting to please.  She is known for jumping the fence, so I would suggest a 6 ft fenced yard or she would need a very watchful eye and perhaps an electric fence.  Nola does well with children so any active family would be wonderful for her.  Nola is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccinations.  If Nola sounds like a dog that you would like to meet as you think she would fit your lifestyle we would love to get together.
