lucille Margaret Landberg Obituary

Lucille Margaret Landberg, age 93, of Geneva died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Rosewood Care Center in St. Charles.

She was born January 5, 1920 in St. Charles to Harold and Norma Potter. 

She was raised in LaFox where her family operated Potter’s Store.  She attended the one room school house in LaFox through eighth grade and in 1937, she graduated from Geneva High school.

Mrs. Landberg is survived by three sons, Lynn Landberg, Keith (Arlene) and Kirk (Lynn), all of Geneva, grandchildren, Laura (Rick) Rush of Geneva, Michael (Kathleen) Landberg of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, Brittany (David) Egan of LaFox, Meredith (Chris) Bong of Geneva, Timothy (Stacey) Landberg of Los Angeles, California, and Jill (Ryan) LaMirand of Geneva and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in her parents, her husband, Harold, a brother, Maurice Potter, a sister, Eloise Hawthorne and a daughter-in-law, Victoria Landberg.

Funeral service will be held 7:00 P.M., Sunday, November 24th at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 West State Street, (Rt. 38), Geneva.  Burial will be 10:00 A.M., Monday at Garfield Cemetery, Campton Hills.  Visitation will be Sunday from 4-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to the Geneva History Center, 113 South Third Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134
