The St. Charles North Drills Teams attended the Universal Dance Camp from June 25 to 28 at Illinois State University in Normal, Ill.
This elite camp features teams from across the nation. The varsity and junior varsity teams came away with 8 Spirit Sticks, a Superior Award for their team routine and multiple Superior ribbons for their individual dances. The varsity team also qualified for Nationals in Orlando, Fla., in January.
Five varsity members received All-American honors, Nikki Arnold, Kassi Ams, Colleen Lullo, Alison Meisenheimer, Lindsey Niemann and MaryKate Purcell. Anna Spence and Shelby Kroncke also received Junior Varsity All-American honors.
