Christ Community Church Presents An Exclusive Interview with Louis Zamperini

On June 30 and July 1, Christ Community Church will present an exclusive video interview with Louis Zamperini, a true American hero and the subject of Laura Hillenbrand’s best-selling book Unbroken, which has spent over 70 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller List.

Born in 1917, Zamperini has traveled an extreme journey from his mischievous depression-era boyhood in California, to a Japanese Prisoner of War camp; facing countless unfathomable obstacles and catastrophes in between. A former record-breaking Olympic runner, World War II bombardier, and Prisoner of War survivor, Zamperini returned from the war an alcoholic who suffered from severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder before God came into his life, filling him with forgiveness and turning his life around.

Join Christ Community as Zamperini shares his inspiring life and faith story; a gripping tale of survival, resilience, and redemption. This exclusive video interview will be shown on June 30 at 5pm and July 1 at 9 and 11am at Christ Community Church’s St. Charles Campus, located at the northwest corner of Randall Road and Bolcum Road in St. Charles. The video will also be shown at Christ Community’s Aurora (Blackberry Creek), Bartlett, and DeKalb Campuses the following weekend.
