Hey St. Charles, Cold Weather’s Coming
Yes, it's in the 40s and may hit 50 on Tuesday, but come Thursday, temperatures will be sliding down into the 20s, forecasters say.
While December always marks the arrival of the holidays, it’s also typically marks the arrival of wintry conditions — such as cold.
This December appears to be no different.
Monday’s high was expected to hit 42 degrees in St. Charles, with an overnight low of 35 degrees. Tuesday’s high of 50 and overnight low of 43 also are fairly comfortable. Wednesday’s high is supposed to be 45, but overnight, the temperature’s going to drop.
