Japan Disaster Benefit Concert, a Blooming Affair and More This Weekend

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for when you're done with work and ready to get out. Check our picks for the activities to hit.

1. BENEFIT CONCERT FOR JAPAN DISASTER RELIEF

Why Go: features ensembles from Northern Illinois University School of Music performing chamber works by Mozart, Schumann and Poulenc. Net ticket proceeds and freewill offering will be donated to American Red Cross for Japan tsunami relief.

3. A BLOOMING AFFAIR
Where/When: 5:30 p.m. Saturday at , 4070 E. Main St., St. Charles.
Why Go: The 22nd annual for TriCity Family Services features silent and live auctions, raffles, dinner and entertainment from the Mary Hunt Duo.

4. GODSPELL
Where/When: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 3 p.m. Sunday at , 524 W. State St., Geneva.
Why Go: Geneva Underground Playhouse presents one of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway of all time.
Pricing: $20, $15 for students and seniors.

5. LIVE RADIO THEATER
