The case of the Treyvon Martin shooting by George Zimmerman has fascinated and inflamed the nation, but who would have thought that a west-Chicago area connection would come into it? That's now the case as former Lisle chief Richard Myers has been tapped to replace Bill Lee, the chief in Sanford who stepped aside after controversy over how the case was handled.

Other big-name news landed in Westmont, where you will soon be able to train like Wolverine or a famous Cubs pitcher, since celebrity trainer Jim Karas—the man behind Hugh Jackman's body!—will be opening an office.
