Choose between art, drink, theater and music

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for when you're done with work and ready to get out. Check our picks for the activities to hit.

1. NIGHT OF JAZZ
Where/When: 6-10 p.m. Friday at Pipefitters Banquet Hall, at the corner of Butterfield and Church Roads, Aurora.
Why Go: The dinner dance features music provided by the Batavia High School Jazz Bands. Tickets may be ordered on-line at bataviamusicbuffs.org. The Batavia Music Buffs support the music programs of the Batavia school system. is the group's largest fundraiser of the year.
Pricing: $25, $15 for students and children.

2. THE AU PAIR MAN
Where/When: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at , 111 W Main St, Saint Charles.
Why Go: Written by the Irish playwright Hugh Leonard, author of the Broadway hit play Da, is a reverse My Fair Lady that is both an exploration of a complicated interpersonal relationship and an allegory of the centuries-old conflict between England and Ireland.
Pricing: $25, $23 for seniors and students.

3. ART BY THE GLASS
Where/When: 3-8 p.m. Friday at , 1772 S Randall Rd, Geneva.
Why Go: Meet artist Mike Skoflanc and see his of creative constructions and mixed media paintings. Enjoy live music and rich art while
enjoying a glass of wine.
Pricing: $2 for Twilight Tasting.

4. ART GALLERY WALK
Where/When: 5-9 p.m. Friday in , W. State St. & N. 3rd St.
Why Go: A self-guided and reception to showcase the art galleries of Geneva.
Pricing: Free.

5. COMFORTABLY FLOYD
Where/When: 9 p.m. Saturday at , 3341 W Main St, Saint Charles.
Why Go: The Pink Floyd . Must be 21.
Pricing: No cover.
