5 Things: National Punch Day and More

Seniors can enjoy an omelet breakfast this morning at Pottawatomie Community Center.

The St. Charles Breakfast Rotary will sponsor a low-cost breakfast this morning for senior citizens. Keep reading to see how you can participate in the fun.

And take a break with a nice glass of punch in celebration of National Punch Day.

1. The City of St. Charles will conduct a in City Council Chambers at the . Tonight's topics will include a continued public hearing for a new Lexington Homes development north of Dean and State streets.

2. Resident age 50 and older can enjoy a breakfast sponsored in part by the St. Charles Park District, St. Charles Breakfast Rotary and from 6:30 to 9 a.m. at the . Rotarians will serve omelets, doughnuts, juice and coffee. Guests can also participate in a raffle. 

3. Join the  for its  at 5:30 p.m. Art Box is an art supply retailer, art school and gallery. It offers a variety of products and services for those with all levels of artistic skill.

4. Get estate planning advice from the experts at during their event at 7 p.m. at in Geneva. Savant has assembled a panel of specialists that includes some of the region’s top estate planning experts. The panelists will provide insight and advice regarding the new estate tax laws, along with answering questions from attendees.

5. Fun Fact: Today is National Punch Day. We couldn't find the exact origins of this day, but it's a fun one to celebrate with a crowd.
