Eight Downtown Venues Sign on as Jazz Weekend Hosts

Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Frank Catalano will be featured during the Sept. 12-15 festival in downtown St. Charles.

The St. Charles Jazz Weekend enters its second year with plans to host live jazz music Sept. 12-15, 2013, as eight downtown venues host jazz groups for lunch, dinner, and late evening entertainment.

During the festival, McNally's Irish Pub, Biggby Coffee, Isacco Kitchen, The Alibi Bar and Grill, The Office, The Filling Station, Nuova Italia Ristorante, and The House Pub have signed on to host jazz duos to quartets that cover a range of jazz styles, according to a release from the Downtown St. Charles Partnership. The venues will provide the jazz complementary for their in-house guests.

Headlining at The House Pub on both Friday and Saturday nights will be three-time Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Frank Catalano.
