St. Charles Arts Council Call To Artists

The St Charles Arts Council is sponsoring their third "neXt gallery", (a Pop Up Gallery program), which will open Saturday, March 17 and run through Sunday, April 7. We encourage artists to submit work for jurying into the gallery.

Theme: Open

Format: Juried-Jury Fee $15 (nonrefundable). Fees can be mailed to: St. Charles Arts Council, 2 East Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174

Number of Artists: Minimum 15, Maximum 50

Number of Pieces per Artist: Minimum-1, Maximum-7

Images for Jurying: Via e-mail, jpg images 500KB or less. Any help needed with this requirement, please contact the SCAC at 630-443-3794, or go to StCharlesArtsCouncil@gmail.com. Include with the image(s), the title of the piece(s), dimensions and price.

Exhibition Fee: $40 The SCAC is a 501C3 Organization, and as such, cannot take a commission on artwork sold. The artist will receive 100% of purchase price. Illinois sales tax will be collected and will be the responsibility of the artists to pay to the state . The SCAC has liability insurance to cover the insurance value of the art in the gallery. All artwork must be ready to hang/install. Sculpture pedestals/stands must be provided by the artists. All artwork must be for sale.Delivery and pick up will be the responsibility of the artist.

Publicity: There is a comprehensive promotional plan for the gallery that includes a p.r. campaign, a social media campaign and cross promotional opportunities with local retailers, restaurants, arts organizations and businesses. All artists in the show will be featured on our website: www.nextgallerystcharles.org.
