St. Charles Singer Shares Story of Voyage into Music
The West Chicago-band Voyage recently played Sun City in Huntley.
Joel Stombres of St. Charles plays guitar and is the lead singer of the '70s and '80s rock n' roll band Voyage.
The West Chicago band recently played Sun City. Voyage band members, including Stombres, sat down with Patch to talk their lives in music.
"All my siblings were musicians and went to school to study music, officially," Stombres said. "So, I just grew up with music all the live-long day, basically."

In college, Stombres studied business but continued to play music "by ear."
Voyage also played the Huntley Fall Fest in September.
