Business Consulting Firm Opens in St. Charles
Transworld Business Advisors opens on Illinois Street, and online auto dealer Chicago Motor Cars moves to West Chicago.
St. Charles resident Linda Thomas is tackling a new business as the owner of Transworld Businesses Advisors, according to PR.com.
The former assistant vice president of the property and casualty division of a major insurance company, Thomas has extensive experience in commercial insurance underwriting and marketing, as well as management, according to PR.com.
“Discovering Transworld Business Advisors came at the perfect time in my life; after years of working within the confines of a large corporate structure, I was ready to work for myself,” Thomas told PR.com. “Owning my own business with the experience and support of a major franchisor is the best of both worlds.”

Transworld Business Advisors provides services for business brokerage, franchise consultant, and franchise development, according to PR.com. which said the brokerage side brings together buyers and sellers of businesses; the franchise consulting side offers entrepreneurs access to pre-screened franchises; while assisting people in growing their businesses is offered through franchise development services.

Chicago Motor Cars Moves to West Chicago
One of the largest online car dealers based in Chicago has moved to a new, two-room showroom in West Chicago, according to PRWeb.com.
Chicago Motor Cars now has a 50,000-square-foot area to display upper-end per-owned vehicles at 27W110 North Ave., West Chicago, and can be reached by phone at 630-221-1800.
According to PRWeb.com, Chicago Motor Cars hand picks what it considers the best pre-owned vehicles from the market, which it then sells “at thousands of dollars below retail” to valued customers.
Chicago Motor Cars touts itself as the nation’s largest online car dealer. According to PRWeb.com, the company opened in February 2004, growing to online sales last year of more than $700 million.
