When and how did your business get started?

In 2012, I started McNally's Heating and Cooling while working for another heating company started doing jobs for myself, and a short time later I was so busy my everyday job was just getting in the way. So I left my job on the 4th of July and never looked back. Now we have three trucks on the road and are growing every day, one customer at a time.

What is your business best known for?

We are known for customer service with our honest evaluations and down-to-earth explanation of what is going on with people’s current heating or cooling system. We have the customer’s best interest in mind and people really appreciate the way we put things in simple terms.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

i have been in the trades nearly my whole life my father, Ed McNally, was a builder here in the St. Charles area. i started doing heating and air conditioning at the age of 14 but had been on construction sites since i could walk. I not only have an understanding of the heating and cooling system, although it is my specialty, but my knowledge of general construction is pretty broad, too, as well as my brother Ed that works here, as we had the same upbringing.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

I have been a St. Charles resident almost my whole life and still am I have a strong pride in the St. Charles community, and to be honest, the thought of operating in a different town never crossed my mind.
