Paging Dr. Noah Drake: Rick Springfield Returns to St. Charles

The singer/songwriter/actor was made famous by such songs as "Don't Talk To Strangers" and "Jessie's Girl," for which he won a Grammy in 1981.

Rick Springfield, the Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter, will play the again on Dec. 2.

Springfield’s hits include Jessie’s Girl, Love Somebody and Hard to Hold.

"I'm telling you, this is one of the most exciting, rockin' shows you will ever see," said Ron Onesti, owner of the St. Charles theater. "As a high-energy musician and as a performer who really gives 110 percent back to his fans, Rick is a must-see for any music lover.”

Not just limited to music, Springfield’s acting career took him to daytime television with the role of  Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital. After a 23-year absence, he returned to the television show in 2005 and continues as a recurring guest star on the show.

Springfield has played the Arcada several times before.
