Nicole Leinbach Reyhle, the founder and editorial director of Retail Minded magazine and RetailMinded.com, was the featured speaker who inspired a room full of business owners during the Downtown St. Charles Partnership’s Business Exchange on Jan. 16 at Nuova Italia Ristorante.
Business owners and managers were deeply engaged, learning about the 20 marketing tips Reyhle presented. The “Marketing on a Dime” presentation addressed social media, daily deals, business staples and statements, overall branding and more. Reyhle discussed both the pros and cons of each, allowing businesses to better identify what makes sense uniquely for them. Attendees were very active with questions and discussion pertaining to their specific business in downtown St. Charles.
Reyhle supports the retail community at large through writing, speaking, webinars, workshops and more. As the founder and editorial director of Retail Minded magazine, Reyhle delivers news, education and support for retailers both in and out of their stores. She is constantly working with independent retailers and small business owners in an effort to best support their unique goals. In addition to her work with Retail Minded, Reyhle is an instructor at Columbia College Chicago, teaching various retail and writing courses. Reyhle contributes to a variety of professional retail trade publications that include Floral Management, Museums & More, Dance Retailer News and many others. Nicole also has a weekly online column with Crain’s Business, appropriately titled “Retail Minded.”
