St. Charles Gas Guide: Feb. 7, 2013

Our weekly guide to help you find the lowest prices per gallon in the St. Charles area.

The Costco on Randall Road near Oak Street, the longtime leader as having the cheapest credit price for regular grade gas in the area, this week is tied with Meijer, 7-Eleven, and BP.

AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report showed that nationally, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline on Thursday is $3.546 a gallon, up from $3.533 a day earlier, also up from $3.394 a week ago. The national average of a gallon of regular gas a month ago was $3.297, but was $3.480 a year ago. The highest recorded average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $4.114 on July 17, 2008.
