Tri-Cities Gas Guide for June 19, 2013

Use our weekly guide to find the lowest gasoline prices in the Tri-Cities of Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles.

National average gasoline prices dipped 3.1 cents per gallon over the past week and are down 5 cents per gallon of regular gasoline from a month ago.


Meantime, Tri-Cities gas prices continued to outpace the statewide average price of a gallon of regular gasoline, which was $4.052 Wednesday.


Paid-membership gas stations Sam’s Club in Batavia had the lowest prices per gallon of regular gasoline in the Tri-Cities on Wednesday, according to Illinois Gas Prices.

AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report showed that nationally, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline late Wednesday was $3.603 a gallon, down slightly from $3.607 a day earlier and down from $3.634 a week ago. The national average of a gallon of regular gas a month ago was $3.653, and was $3.497 a year ago. The highest recorded national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $4.114 on July 17, 2008.
