Tri-Cities Gas Guide for May 29, 2013

National average gasoline prices rose 3.9 cents per gallon over the past week and are up 12.1 cents per gallon of regular gasoline from a month ago.
Meantime, Tri-Cities gas prices continued to outpace the statewide average price of a gallon of regular gasoline, which was $3.992 Wednesday.
Paid-membership gas stations Sam’s Club in Batavia and Costco in St. Charles had the No. 1 and No. 2 lowest prices per gallon of regular gasoline in the Tri-Cities on Wednesday, according to Illinois Gas Prices.
AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report showed that nationally, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline late Wednesday was $3.621 a gallon, down slightly from $3.626 a day earlier and up from $3.660 a week ago. The national average of a gallon of regular gas a month ago was $3.500, and was $3.636 a year ago. The highest recorded national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $4.114 on July 17, 2008.
