Public Invited to Taste and Tango at Fundraiser

The Friends of the West Chicago City Museum invite the public to an afternoon of dining and dancing at the annual Dance Away the Winter Blues! fundraiser on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  The event is hosted by Tango Argentina Club, located at 179 W. Washington Street in West Chicago.

The ticket price of $15 per person or $25 per couple includes lunch served at 1:00 p.m. followed by a short dance lesson and open dancing.  Tickets can be purchased at the City Museum, 132 Main Street, West Chicago.  Proceeds from the event benefit the Friends of the West Chicago City Museum.  To purchase tickets or for further information, call (630) 231-3376 or email wchistory@yahoo.com.

The Friends of the West Chicago City Museum is a support group for the West Chicago City Museum.  The West Chicago City Museum is a dynamic history and art center that inspires and involves the community through research, programs and exhibits.
