Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce Bringing Farmers' Market to West Chicago

West Chicago, Illinois: May 22, 2014 - The Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce has announced that the final approvals have been received for a new Farmers' Market in West Chicago. The Chamber has managed a Farmers' Market in Winfield for nearly twenty years, first as the Winfield Chamber of Commerce and currently and for the past three years, as the Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber President and CEO, David Sabathne said, “The Winfield Market has become a favorite for local residents and with the encouragement and support of the City of West Chicago, we decided to grow this success in another area that the Chamber serves.”

According to Sabathne, regionally grown farm fresh produce is the key to having a successful market and there are three farmers anxious to begin. In addition, the market will offer a variety of products such as fresh bread, meats, cheese, honey, and kettle corn. Also offered will be specialty craft and art items, as well as seasonal products, cooking supplies and accessories.
