5 Things You Should Know for Wednesday, June 8

Here are today's must-know items about happenings in St. Charles.

  1. The 2010-11 school year is officially ending. District 303 students will attend a half-day of classes with dismissal at 11 a.m.
  2. Recording artist Richard Marx, actor Hugh Jackman and Matt Scannell of the band Vertical Horizon will perform at the for a live PBS taping at 8 p.m.

  4. LivingWell Cancer Resource Center is conducting men's-only discussion  entitled Sexuality After Cancer from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Living Well, in Geneva, provides cancer support services for patients and their families.
  5. The  will provide free e-book and audio book help from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Participants are asked to bring all cords and devices with them to this free session.
