Ace Hardware Foundation Golf Outing Raises $1 million for Children's Hospitals

Participants golfed at seven Chicago area courses, including Pheasant Run Resort, during the 20th annual outing.

Ace Hardware Foundation’s 20th anniversary Vendor Golf Outing, which featured play at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, raised $1 million to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

The Aug. 11 event, which also took place at six other area golf courses, included participants golfing in groups of four or five in scrambles.

The Ace Hardware Foundation, based in Oak Brook, sponsors the golf outing each year to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which includes Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Ace Hardware has been a corporate partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1991 and has raised more than $50 million during the past 20 years, according to a press release from Ace Hardware.
