City of St. Charles Plans Blood Drive for April 5

Heartland Blood Centers mobile donation coach will be parked at Main Street and Riverside Avenue 2 to 6 p.m.; appointments are not required to make donations.

The City of St. Charles is hosting a community blood drive 2 to 6 p.m. April 5 in downtown St. Charles.

Donations will be collected in a mobile coach from Heartland Blood Centers that will be parked in the checkerboard lot at Riverside Avenue and Main Street, outside the St. Charles Municipal Center at 2 E. Main St.

Anyone wishing to donate blood is welcome to participate; donors must be 17 or older. A photo ID is required. Appointments can be scheduled by visiting www.heartlandbc.org, or by calling the City of St. Charles Human Resources Department at 630-377-4446.

Walk-ins are welcome and the staff will do its best to accommodate donors as they arrive.  For information, visit Heartland Blood Centers at www.heartlandbc.org.
