Light Rain Turns to Snow

1 to 2 inches of snow likely will fall Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters say the rain will turn to snow as the temperature drops through Tuesday afternoon.

Up to 2 inches of snow is possible today, according to the National Weather Service.

By 3 p.m., there will be snow and areas of blowing, the weather service states. Snow is more likely later in the afternoon. The temperature is expected to fall to around 20 by rush hour.

The snow will then taper off by 10 p.m., according to weather.com.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy but will eventually become mostly clear with a low of about 3. Winds of 15 to 20 mph, with gusts up 30 mph, will drive the wind chill down to a low of -9.
