Shiver: Weather Service Says Chance of Snow Shower Thursday, High Near 36

The National Weather Services predicts mostly cloudy and breezy day on Thursday.

It had happen sooner or later. Forecasters are predicting a possible snow for the St. Charles area Thursday.

The National Weather Service is reporting “a chance of rain and snow showers” for Thursday, with a high near 36. There’s also a chance of drizzle and flurries Wednesday night until 9 p.m.

The Chicago Tribune reported the first recorded snowfall at O’Hare Airport Wednesday afternoon.

This might be a good time to put down your laptop, iPad or other mobile, Internet-connected device and break out those gloves, scarves and knit hats, if you haven’t already.

The weather service also had reported possible snow for Wednesday morning.
