Walk (Don't Run!) to School Today; Clinic for Storm Basketball

How about a history lesson?

Walk, don’t run: Today is . in Kane County are teaming up with the Making Kane County Fit for Kids initiative to promote walking as a way to be safer and healthier. For this year’s Walk, 49 schools have pledged to participate, according to the Kane County Health Department.

Meet the Mayor: The ’s Twenties and Thirties group is hosting 2011 History Crawl: Meet the Mayor! The program will take participants on a tour of the and offer a history lesson about the city’s past mayors. They’ll also meet current Mayor Don DeWitte. Click here to RSVP.
