Weather Service: Wind Chill Could Drop Below Zero Tonight

Tonight is expected to be blustery, with wind gusts of up to 30 mph.

Snow didn’t fall and produce a white Christmas, but the New Year already is shaping up to be a cold and somewhat snowy one.

The National Weather Service is predicting below zero wind chill and gusts of up to 30 mph possible tonight for the Kane County and much of the Chicago area.

In the weather business, that’s called a “blustery night.”
